Buckaloons Recreation Area In PA

While traveling through PA in an RV rental you’ll be amazed at the size and beauty of the Allegheny National Forest. Covering nearly half a million acres, the Allegheny National Forest is home to the Kinzua Dam and Allegheny River. It is also where you can find the Buckaloons Recreational Area. The Buckaloons Recreational Area and Campground sits at the confluence of the Allegheny River, Brokenstraw Creek, and Irvine Run in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Buckaloons Dates And Fees

The Buckaloons Recreation Area is open from May-October and costs $23.00 a day for an electrical hook up camp site. The double electric site costs $36.00 per day and the group site costs $50.00 per day. You can stay for up to 14 days at the Buckaloons Recreation Area per visit. Leaving your campsite unoccupied during the first night after equipment has been set up, or leaving equipment for more than 24 hours thereafter, is prohibited. Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Check out time is 2:00 p.m. Camping fees must be paid by 2:00 p.m.

All campgrounds are equipped with a picnic table, fire ring or grill and enough room for your RV rental.
